The African National Congress has called on Democratic Alliance leader Helen Zille to take full responsibility for what it calls the City of Cape Town’s financial mismanagement of the Bus Rapid Transport system.

ANC national spokesperson Jackson Mthembu says in a statement they find Zille’s excuses unacceptable.
Zille says the former executive director of the City of Cape Town’s Department of Transport is responsible and claims that civil servants denied her information.
