An 83 year old man was shot dead and his son wounded at their plot in Hartzenburgfontein, South of Johannesburg, early this morning.
Constable Ntshidiseng Phakwe says they were shot just before 1 am, after entertaining guests.
The elderly man and his son were cleaning up outside the house, when an unknown person opened fire on them.
The man’s wife was in the house when she heard the shots. Police are currently investigating the matter.
No arrests have been made.
