A 34-year-old woman’s body has been found in a veld in Clarkbury, Eastern Cape.
The body was found by people on their way to work.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela says her body had several wounds, indicating that she was stabbed before being dumped.
Fayela added that police were in a process of investigating whether the woman was raped, before she was killed.
