Recent heavy rains and flooding has cost the Free State nearly billion-Rands-worth of damage.
Provincial Cooperative Governance MEC, Mamiki Qabathe said damaged roads and bridges will cost the province some 516-million-Rands.
The damages to houses will amount to an estimated 314-million.
Farmers also lost crops valued at 95-million-Rands.
