Candidates with outstanding papers have until 5pm today to submit the papers, the Independent Electoral Commission stated.
Outstanding documents include IDs and acceptance of nomination forms.
Local government elections will be held on the 18th of May.
Western Cape Independent Electoral Commission officer Courtney Sampson said no late applications would be allowed.
The final list of candidates for the municipal polls will be published on 12 April.
