The Department of Women, Children and People with Disabilities says a project funded by the Italian government has helped South Africa to deal with an influx of unaccompanied refugee children.
The project cost nearly two-point-three-million-Rands.
Minister Lulu Xingwana says the project has been instrumental in helping government reunite some of the children with their families.
