Osama bin Laden, the world's most wanted terrorist, has been killed in Pakistan.
This is a result of a US military operation which was ordered by US President Barack Obama.
Obama made the announcement in an address to the nation last night.
The death of Osama bin Laden comes about four months before the 10th anniversary of the devastating September 11 attacks on the United States.
