Three men will appear in court today in connection with the brutal slaying of North West farmer Andre van der Merwe.
Forty-nine-year-old Van der Merwe of Ottosdal was shot three times and his body dragged behind his bakkie with a rope. Police say one of the attackers was arrested on the scene, and led officers to his two alleged accomplices.
The spokesperson says they will oppose bail.
And in London, Shrien Dewani is back in court for a full extradition hearing.
He is accused of orchestrating the murder of his newlywed wife during their honeymoon in Cape Town in November last year.
A judge will decide whether the evidence provided by the National Prosecution Authority is enough to send Dewani back to South Africa.
