The ANC Youth League has raised its concern that the ANC national disciplinary committee is not following proper procedure in the disciplinary hearing of Julius Malema and other League officials.
This is after the committee announced its rejection of Malema’s attempt to have the various charges he faces thrown out. The disciplinary hearing continues on Monday.
Outside Luthuli House in Johannesburg, scores of Malema supporters had gathered for the announcement.
Several provincial leaders from the Youth League openly stated that they would support Kgalema Motlanthe over Jacob Zuma at next year’s ANC national conference.
