The youth accused of murdering six-month-old Jordan Leigh Norton has decided to take the stand.

This new turn of events caused his former advocate Charles Simon to withdraw as counsel for the remaining three alleged hit men.

He said he cannot cross question the youth if he testifies. Yesterday it was revealed that Simon received an affidavit from the youth on Wednesday, a week after the youth decided to change his stance.

He then appointed William King as his new advocate. The case was postponed for King to prepare. John Van de Berg, the counsel for the alleged murder mastermind Dina Rodrigues John Van de Berg said Simon’s withdrawal would not benefit the other three accused.

The case has been postponed to Thursday for new legal representation to be found for the remaining three alleged hit men.
