Making their mark: Voters at a polling station in Cape Town
By 13h40, the number of voters who had cast their ballots in the City of Cape Town stood at 195,312. That figure represents 11,36% of the 1,719,878 registered voters in the same district.
The number is expected to increase dramatically over the next few hours, while voting stations are to speed up operations.
