Doors at the Western Cape Nursing College are expected to be re-opened today.
This follows a two week closure after a student protest during which three students and a guard were injured.
During the closure students on the college residences were evicted.
In their memorandum which they submitted to the Cape Peninsula University of Technology as well as the Western Cape Health Department stated their grievances which included not wanting to work long and unsupervised hours during their internship, amongst others.
Departmental spokesperson Faiza Steyn confirmed that the college will re-open today.
