On Saturday President Jacob Zuma will show off his football abilities at the Special Olympics Unity Cup before the Fifa World Cup quarterfinals.
The 20-minute match will take place at the Cape Town Stadium where Zuma, the captain of the team, will lead a renowned list of celebrities and football legends like Zhang Ziyi Chinese actress and Special Olympics Global Ambassador, NBA legend and Global Ambassador Dikembe Mutombo, former captain of South Africa’s National Women’s Football Team and FIFA Ambassador Desiree Ellis, and South African, former South African National Football team captain Lucas Radebe and Former Leeds Clarence Seedorf of AC Milan.
Zuma’s motivation for his involvement is to get first hand experience about the skill and athletic ability of Special Olympics athletes
