Public service unions leaders will be meeting today to consolidate the gathering of mandates from all affiliates.
Public services unions affiliated with Cosatu are still undecided on whether to go on a nationwide strike.
Cosatu unions represent 56 percent of the unionised State employees.
The unions rejected the offer made by government of a six and a half percent wage increase.
The unions want a 8.6 percent wage increase from government if their demands are not meet then they will take part in a nationwide strike on Thursday.
The Public Servants’ association has already been given the go-ahead for a strike from its 200 thousand 210 000 members.
