Netcare have been implicated in international organ syndicate.
The head of South Africa’s leading private hospital group has been charged for his involvement in an international kidneys-for-sale syndicate.
Ten people including Netcare CEO Richard Friedland have been served summons.
The charges include more than a hundred counts of fraud, counts of serious assault and counts of contravening the Human Tissues Act and Prevention of Organised Crime Act.
All the eleven people will be appearing in a Durban court in November.
