A woman from Pretoria and her parents are suing the Gauteng High Court, two family advocates and the ministers of Police and Justice for 20 million.

This is after her husband murdered her 3-year-old son.

Marinda Botha claims the killing could have been prevented, as the magistrate and lawyers were aware that her husband had threatened the child.

Botha said the magistrate and two family lawyers did nothing to stop the murder of her little boy, even though they knew her estranged husband Jimmy had threatened to kill the child.

She has stated that she has been left with permanent psychological scars after the murder of her child.

IT IS WITH DEEP FEELINGS THAT I READ THIS ARTICLE. THE NEW LAW TO PLACE "THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD" FIRST, IS MEANT TO BE IN FORCE IN S.A. BUT I, AS A GRANDPARENT AM EXPERIENCING THE PROBLEM OF THE POWERS THAT BE BEING TRAPPED IN THE OUTDATED WAY OF THINKING THE CHILD SHOULD BE WITH THE MOTHER AND IGNORING THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD OPENLY.
