A 26-year-old man from Khayelitsha in Cape Town has been brought in for questioning in connection with the murder of 28-year-old British tourist Anni Dewani.
She was found murdered in the back of a minibus shuttle on Sunday morning.
Dewani and her husband visited the Gugulethu Township late on Saturday night when their vehicle was hijacked by two men.
Meanwhile, the South African Institute of Race Relations says more than 700 people have been murdered in Gugulethu over the last five years.
This after Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa and national police commissioner Bheki Cele expressed their disgust at the hijacking of the British couple.
