Criminal charges have been laid against Public Works Minister Gwen Mahlangu-Nkabinde and Police Commissioner Bheki Cele.
The charges were laid at the Claremont police station in Cape Town by the Democratic Alliance.
The charges have also been extended out to businessman Roux Shabangu and the former public works Director-General Siviwe Dongwana.
The four have been implicated in the public protector’s report on two police building leases amounting to R1.7billion.
