Trade union Solidarity says the liquidation of Aurora Empowerment Systems finally paves the way for legal action to be taken against the directors of the failed company.
The North Gauteng High Court yesterday ratified the nine-million-Rands liquidation application of Copper Eagle, which had acted as contractors for Aurora.
A liquidation application of R3.1-million was brought by Solidarity in May.
Solidarity’s Gideon du Plessis says the next step is for the Aurora directors to be personally held liable for the damage they caused.
