International Monetary Fund Chief Christine Lagarde warned that South Africa and other more developed African economies could suffer if the euro zone debt crisis remained unresolved.
She said this after meeting Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan today. This was Lagarde's first visit to the country since taking up the wheel at IMF.
She continued to say that the body pledged its continued support to all its members, not just the largest or the most troubled.
Lagarde maintained the facts spoke for themselves.
