The Independent Electoral Commission has announced that Mosotho Moepya will be the new Chief Electoral Officer for the Commission.
IEC chairperson Pansy Tlakula made the appointment today.
The position became vacant when Tlakula took over the position of chairperson from Dr Brigalia Bam in 2011.
Moepya had worked at the IEC since 1998 and has served on numerous review teams acrossAfrica .
