A 25-year-old woman rescued at Muizenberg beach

A Brazilian woman got into trouble while swimming at Surfers’ Corner beach near Muizenberg on Saturday.

The 25-year-old was rescued by two surfers.

Cape Town’s emergency medical services said that Gleema Lima was in a state of shock after swallowing water and sustaining minor cuts.

Metro emergency services provided medical treatment on the scene.
