The North West police said that six people have been arrested after they allegedly burnt down a tribal hall, offices and barricaded roads.

The incident took place during a protest in Tlhatlhaganyane near Rustenburg this morning.

The suspects are accused of being part of a group that protested against poor service delivery and alleged corrupt officials from the tribal authority.

The North West police said the six accused will appear in the Mogwase Magistrate's Court on Monday.
