The City of Cape Town’s Metro Police are currently hosting a delegation of CCTV experts from the United Kingdom.
The delegation will take a critical look at the CCTV system in the mother city.
JP Smith from the City’s Safety and Security Committee says that there are currently 600 camera’s across Cape Town.
Smith further said that they need advice from successful systems like the one in London in order to facilitate future technology improvements.
