Confrontation leads to a suicide

29 March 2012
It appears that a dispute over money led to yesterday’s murder-suicide at a law firm in Centurion, Gauteng.
Four men were killed.
It is believed that 64-year-old Martin van Deventer had confronted 43-year-old Pieter Erasmus, 50-year-old Johan Griesel and 56-year-old Wimpy van Heerden over money they are believed to have owed him.
When they said they didn’t have the money but would pay him later, Van Deventer shot the three men and himself.
