A section of Cape Town’s N1 Highway has been closed after an oil tanker burst into flames at Brackenfell Boulevard.
Fire and rescue services say the Brent tanker overturned, before catching alight.
Firefighters are currently on their way to the scene.
Mark Bosch of the Fire and Rescue Services says they have sent out two of their fire engines as well as a water tanker and a rescue vehicle to the scene.
