A fire occurred on Saturday night in Harare
The blaze destroyed about two formal houses and five backyard shacks.
The incident left about 18 people homeless.
The Cape Town`s Disaster Team visited the area today and gave food as well as the building material.
The officials said that the cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
