Today MEC for Community Safety in the Western Cape Dan Plato will congratulate the Provincial Traffic services in the Western Cape for receiving the Road Traffic Management Fund (RTMC) quarterly award for the most effective road safety initiatives.
The RTMC indicated that many initiatives by the provincial traffic services will be incorporated into the national rolling enforcement plan.
The nomination and selection was made by the National Law Enforcement Technical Committee (LETCOM) who was impressed by the ideas from the Western Cape Provincial Traffic services.
Plato will be congratulating provincial traffic services as well as provincial traffic Chief Kenny Africa.
