Time is drawing to a close for Cape Town residents to have their say in naming certain streets and public places.
The City of Cape Town is busy finalising its public participation process which will draw to a close the end of this month.
Some of the street names up for change are Hendrik Verwoerd, Vanguard Drive and NY1 road.
The mayco member for transport Brett Herron said people who have not yet made their voices heard should do so as soon as possible.
He added they have already held three public hearings so far.
Herron said they will be studying and making recommendations during April to the Mayor.
