65 percent decrease in the number of arrests.

The MEC of Transport and Public Works in the Western Cape Robin Carlisle has announced a 65 percent decrease in the number of arrest on average speed over distance stretch near Beaufort West.
The MEC also stated that there has been only one fatal crash on Aberdeen road since October last year.
Department spokesperson Steven Otter says they had an average over the first two months of the operation there were six people each month who were arrested.
He says this has gone down to two people each month.
