Western Cape Premier Helen Zille and provincial finance, economic development and tourism MEC Alan Winde showcased the province’s Youth Wage Subsidy today.
The Work and Skills for 100-thousand Program differs from the proposed national subsidy.
Winde says success in the province could be transferred to a national level.
He notes that in the Western Cape, 70-percent of unemployed people are between the ages of 15 and 34.
