DA leader Helen Zille has welcomed a High Court ruling which confirmed a retraction and apology by the ANC Youth League, Julius Malema and Floyd Shivambu.
The former leaders made offensive comments about the Western Cape premier during 2009.
Zille issued summonses after her demand for apologies were not forthcoming.
The parties reached a settlement which includes unreserved apologies and an order that the League and the two individuals pay Zille’s legal costs.
