On Wednesday evening a taxi driver crashed into the back of a moving truck in Mobeni.
At this stage the cause of the accident is not known.
ER24’s Derrick Banks said paramedics arrived on the scene and found the taxi driver still trapped in the vehicle.
He added that the paramedics found that the taxi driver had already succumbed to his injuries after he suffered severe traumatic facial injuries.
Banks said the Jaws of Life and other rescue equipment was used to remove the taxi driver from the vehicle.
