On Monday a serious crime was committed which shocked the Railway Safety Regulator.
A female Transnet Freight Rail train driver was raped and then murdered.
The incident occurred at the Makhodo Station in Limpopo.
Sibongiseni Henna Senior Manager of Railway Safety Regulator said they urge all operators to provide safety for their staff.
Henna said they will be investigating the incident.
