MEC for Community Safety in the Western Cape, Dan Plato has congratulated provincial traffic officials following an arrest.
Two individuals were arrested for being in possession of 45kg of dagga.
The MEC’s spokesperson Greg Wagner said Plato congratulated them on a job well done.
He added that the bust took place on the R27 yesterday and saw drugs of an estimated street value of R30 000 being confiscated.
Wagner said these drugs will not hit communities.
