The Western Cape traffic officials held roadblocks throughout the Province over the weekend.
The officials arrested about 36 drivers for various offences and 3 pedestrians were arrested.
Western Cape Traffic Chief Kenny Africa says one driver was arrested for being in possession of dagga.
The highest speed recorded was 175 kilometers per hour in a 120 zone in the Brackenfell area on the N1.
