Rights Commission has accused the African Christian Democratic Party of jumping the gun on Christian holidays.

The ACDP’s leader Kenneth Meshoe said the Commission for the Protection and Promotion of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities was planning to drop Easter and Christmas from the calender.

The ACDP held a march at the weekend protesting against the Commissions’ plans.

But the Commission’s Wesley Mabuza says it has no intention of doing away with major national holidays
