Democratic Alliance councillors witnessed matric exam papers been sent in unsealed boxes to at least two schools.

The DA councillors are currently monitoring the distribution of matric papers in Limpopo.

The DA’s Jacques Smalle said this incident raises security concerns that papers could go missing.

Smalle futhermore said the DA has subsequently contacted the MEC of Education  and  has resolved that an investigation on this matter will  take place.

The schools that are affected will receive sealed papers within the 24 hours  of the notice period.

The DA will later check with the MEC to make sure the script that was written is safeguarded.
