The United Nations has declared December
the 9th as an international day against corruption.
On
this day the world gathers to recommit itself to the fight against corruption.
On Sunday delegates met to review the
strategies and the progress made to stop corruption and fraud.
Public Service Head of Communications
Ndivhuwo Mabaya adds that the Minister of Public Service and Administration
Lindiwe Sisulu has indicated that South Africans must this year’s commemoration
as an aid to introduce new measures to fight corruption and fraud in the public
and those measures will also penalise those who work for government.
Mabaya
furthers more said that they will work together, let us bring pour heads together
to introduce new measures.
They will also be introducing a new strategy
and they are hoping that this will better those who are part of fraud and
corruption.
