25 people were left injured this is after an
industrial crane crashed through the roof of the Golden Walk shopping centre,
in Germiston, on the East Rand, today.

911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann said the crane landed in a shop, injuring
people inside.
Steinmann said upon their arrival on scene they
found that a crane had fallen through the roof of the shopping centre and
landed in one of the shops.
She added that 23 people were injured
during the incident of which two were seriously injured, all the injured were
treated on scene, before being transported to a nearby Netcare facility for
further medical care.
