Modise condemns violence against women

North West Premier Thandi Modise has called on police to investigating whether the Ventersdorp woman who was allegedly abducted for eight days and assaulted during her ordeal, had not been raped.

Spokesman for the Premier Lesiba Kgwele said this follows the arrest of a man in connection with the alleged crime.

Kgwele said the Premier condemns violence against women and call on women who are victims.

Kgwele added that Women should speak out so that they can be assisted before it’s too late.
