The National Education Health and
Allied Workers Union has called on alliance partners to build a decisive,
coherent and united tripartite alliance that can mobilize and lead the country
out of economic subjugation.
This comes as on Tuesday was the
marks 20 years since the late SACP General Secretary Chris Hani was
assassinated outside his home in 1993.
Nehawu’s Spokesperson Sizwe Pamla
said Hani is remembered as a fearless and principled leader who paid the
ultimate price in the struggle of all the oppressed people of this country.
“In his honour, we call on
government to move faster to find solutions to service delivery problems in our
country; we expect government to expedite the implementation of development and
land reform programmes, this will go a long way to keeping the Chris Hani
ideals” Pamla added.
