The Economic Freedom Fighters in the Western Cape said the incident that took place at Sanlam headquarters in Bellville on Friday was unfortunate.

This is after about twenty people identified as EFF members threw human waste at the entrance of the Sanlam building which resulted in an altercation with police and twelve people were arrested.

EFF’s Nazier Paulsen said they believe everybody has the right to protest but it must be done in an orderly manner.

Paulsen added that the incident that took place on Friday EFF condemns in the strongest possible way.
