32 people injured in a multi-vehicle accident in Johannesburg

Netcare 911 paramedics this morning attended to a multi-vehicle accident on the M1 North in Johannesburg which left 32 people with various injuries. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said when paramedics arrived they found that a heavy goods vehicle, a minibus, a bus and motor vehicle involved.

“A total of 32 people sustained minor to moderate injuries and after they were treated on scene, they were transported to various hospitals in the area for further care” Steinmann added.

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
