Two died and sixteen injured in an accident in KZN

Two people died and sixteen people were left injured in an accident on the N2 north bound in KwaZulu Natal.

It is believed that a minibus lost control and left the road way, plunged down an embankment landed on a railway truck and was then struck by a train. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said all the injured people were treated on the scene before they were transported to various hospitals for further medical care

The exact details to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unknown at this stage and will remain the subject of the investigations,” Steinmann added.
