The South African Democratic Teachers Union in the Western Cape has called on education officials to ensure that all learners are placed in a school in 2014.

Sadtu’s Provincial Spokesperson Jonovan Rustin said another problem is parents leaving accruing a school for their child for the last minute which causes major problems.

Rustin said we want to ensure that when learner’s return that all learners are accommodated.

"We further call on parents who have not sorted their children’s school placement to go to the district office to find schools that have opening” Rustin added.

Schools reopen on Wednesday the 15th of January.
