Commission for Gender Equality stamps down fear of terror

The Commission for Gender Equality said we cannot continue to allow our communities to be ruled by fear of terror.

These as over 200 girls have been kidnapped by the Nigerian militant group Boko Haram. 

CGE has called for the immediate and safe return of these girls to their parents.

CGE Spokesperson Javu Baloyi said we calling on all respective communities and institutions to accelerate the rate of which this matter is being taken seriously.

Baloyi said Boko Haram doesn’t have place in our society where we can’t live our lives with fear of terror.

“Our commission will continue to increase our endeavours to ensure that every given opportunity and initiative that is geared into the safe guarding of the 200 girls which have been kidnapped Baloyi added.
