The Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa feels the pain of the Nigerians parents

Oscar Thomas 17 May 2014

The Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa says it feels the pain of the Nigerian parents whose daughters have been abducted by Boko Haram.

Denosa Spokesperson Sibongiseni Delihlazo said keeping quiet when more than 200 innocent school girls are kidnapped is equal to approving of this act.

Delihlazo added that this marks the beginning of the decay of the values that have characterised the African continent for a long time.

Delihlazo said the nurses are seriously concerned if this kind of behaviour is allowed to continue and flourish in the African continent then the nurses are likely to be soft targets because they work long hours.

"Most nurses are actually single parents and therefore the fear is that if this behaviour is allowed to settle in the African continent the values of Ubuntu will be eradicated and this is a huge concern Delihlazo added.
