Improving service delivery on MEC Grant’s agenda

Western Cape MEC of Transport and Public Works Donald Grant, on Thursday delivered his budget vote on the National Public Works Budget Speech at the National Council of Provinces.  MEC Grant said co-operative governance is crucial to achieve better service delivery.

While presenting his speech at the NCOP MEC Grant focused on key issues such as audit outcomes, skills development, infrastructure delivery and management as well as leveraging state assets.

Moreover, in his speech, MEC Grant highlighted some ways in which the Western Cape government has gone above its mandate to ensure all these areas are strengthened.

Grant further noted the Province’s clean audit from the Auditor General and reiterated a “strong focus on effective skills development and transfer.”
