Pedestrian killed on Bapsontein road

A pedestrian, believed to be in his thirties, was killed near the R25/R50 four-way stop in Bapsfontein.

Paramedics from ER24 that arrived on the scene found the man with fatal injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the incident.

ER 24 Spokesperson Werner Vermaak said Paramedics from ER24 that arrived on the scene found the man with fatal injuries.

Vermaak said sadly there was nothing that they could do for him and he was declared dead.

“The incident was handed over to the local authorities for further investigation Vermaak added.
